Then said he, "I am that Light, the Mind, thy God, who am before that Moist Nature that appeareth out of Darkness, and that Bright and Lightful Word from the Mind is the Son of God."

— In our words · Source: The Divine Pymander (Hermes Trismegistus (tr. Everard))

[Use when]

Use when you need the Hermetic stack in one sentence — Light / Mind / Word before cosmology.

[Why it matters]

God self-identifies as Light and Mind; the Word is not a later book but the Mind's bright issue.
