Don't pray for the future; rehearse the finished end as present fact. Murphy's visualization rule: "Imagine the end desired and feel its reality" — the feeling is the ink that makes the impression stick. "A mental picture held in the mind, backed by faith, will come to pass." He acted it literally: selling his own house by nightly pulling the imaginary "For sale" sign from the lawn; the woman who "drove" a Cadillac in her imagination for two weeks before one arrived. The operating sentence: "Act as though I am, and I will be."
